The RES-Q-VAC hand-held medical
suction system is available with patented FULL STOP
PROTECTION (FSP) equivalent to 0.22u HEPA style
filter which prevents all contamination (viral and
bacterial), fluids or pathogens, from exiting the
canister and contaminating the health professional
or surrounding area. With the Full Stop
Protection filter, fluids and pathogens can get into
the bottle, but only clean air gets out. The
flow stop protection eliminates overflow, and
eliminates any contamination from entering the pump
handle or running onto the user. Available in
a large selection of catheters for both adult and
pediatric usage, the flow stop protection reduces
exposure and prevents the spread of infectious
disease.
Meets OSHA law 29CFR 1010.1030 and CDC guidelines. |

APPLICATIONS
RES-Q-VAC was first deployed in what was referred to as
"battle field" conditions in St. Croix in the aftermath of
Hurricane Hugo. RES-Q-VAC is aboard many domestic
airliners, found on many ambulances, and used throughout the
hospital and nursing homes on code carts, in code bags, for
patient transport, and at nurses' stations. It is used
in the home for low-cost mechanical suction that does not
require any electrical power, which makes RES-Q-VAC
essential for backup during power failures, floods
earthquakes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters.
It is also ideal for the military for all emergency
situations and could save many lives for use in chemical or
biological warfare, which has become a concern recently due
to the proliferation of these weapons by rogue terrorist
nations. The RES-Q-VAC is the only hand-operated
system which can be operated while wearing a full combat
chemical suit and can be used to treat children and adults
with its versatile selection of catheters from 8fr through
large bore soft yankauer. |
