Position Overview

The Marketing Director is responsible for managing marketing, advertising and promotional activities at the company.  Takes steps to measure, enhance and enrich the position and image of a company through various goals and objectives.

Essential Job Functions

  • Plan marketing and branding objectives
  • Prepare, develop and implement marketing strategies and tactical plans alongside Head of Sales
  • Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Lead and collaborate with sales to develop strategic partnership activities and implement the execution framework and strategic plan on identified opportunities
  • Develop and execute new concepts, business models, channels and partners to position business as innovator and leader
  • Create and deliver press releases, advertisements, and other marketing materials
  • Partner with internal Marketing team to develop print ads and publications; and own digital marketing plans while maintaining website
  • Ensure brand messages are consistent
  • Manage the planning and execution of Company participation at Tradeshows and in Clinical/Patient programs
  • Gather and analyze customer insight
  • Nurture and enrich all external perceptions of the company and growth of market share
  • Lead all areas of content generation and production across all media platforms
  • Continually manage all market research
  • Take calculated risks based on data driven analytics
  • Drive overall CRM and direct marketing



  • Bachelors degree required
  • 7-10 years Marketing experience in medical device and/or healthcare industry
  • Expert in MS Office, Internet Research, sales tools, mobile devices
  • Strong metric analysis skills to diagnose and coach marketing team to improve performance

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbally and written, a must
  • Must possess strong and proven people management skills, including resolving conflict, sales coaching and developing others, promoting teamwork, and performance management
  • Proven leadership skills and leading a Marketing Team in achieving goals and objectives
  • Track record that demonstrates personal initiative, the ability to build high performing teams, and the capability to overcome challenges
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
